Project Goal
To create a cohesive visual identity for Aeroflot's annual event, ranging from the intro video and broadcast backgrounds to stings, lower thirds, and winner profile cards. The graphics must reinforce the prestigious status of the event, maintain a consistent look across all mediums, and ensure clear readability both on-screen in the venue and during the live stream.
Concepts
At the initial stage, we generated several visual hypotheses. We tested one of the options using AI to quickly nail down the mood, and then developed and built the background manually in 3D. In parallel, we tested two title design solutions for readability, pacing, and performance across both the stage and broadcast formats.
The Story
We started with a metaphor of movement and connection: a badge ribbon winds through abstract lines, bringing the surrounding graphics to life and leading the audience to the logo and main background.
As we worked, the concept shifted toward a more spatial approach, with the camera flying inside the elements of the key background to reveal its volume and textures. On-screen text pops up along the way (such as "Award Ceremony" or "Corporate Competition"). The ribbon stays as a binding element, turning into light paths that drive the motion and lock into the final frame.
3D Animation
To maintain a cohesive style across all mediums, we went through a full production pipeline—from rough animation tests to the final assembly—refining the motion, lighting, and readability. The 3D assets were created in Blender and Cinema 4D, while the final compositing and post-production were handled in After Effects.
